Summary

Tom Stickney is the Director of Golf Instruction for Bighorn Golf Club, in Palm Desert, California in the winters and The Promontory Club, in Park City, Utah in the summers. As full-time teacher for over 20 years he has taught players of all levels and has worked with VIP’s such as: John Boehner, Condoleezza Rice, Penny Hardaway, Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson and Tour Players such as: William McGirt, Keith Fergus, Joe Oglvie, Shaun Micheel, Casey Wittenberg, and Lexi Thompson.

He has written over 150 instructional articles, including eight cover stories, in publications such as Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golf Tips, Golf Illustrated, Senior Golfer, and Golf for Women Magazine. Tom is a an instructional contributor to Golfwrx.com with almost 1,000,000 views to date and has a monthly series running in Golf Digest- The Driver Guy.

Over the course of his teaching career he has won numerous teaching awards: Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher (2007 to present), Golf Digest Top 20 Teachers Under 40 (2006-2011), Golf Digest Best Young Teachers (2008-2011), Golf Tips Top 25 Teachers (2010 to present), Golf Inc Top 10 Innovators, Golf Digest and Golf Magazine Best in State (Florida, California, Colorado, Utah) but states that “his Trackman Master’s Certification is one of his proudest achievements to date!”
