Kari Bakker – First TrackMan University Master from Finland

Kari Bakker has been a PGA member since 1994. Kari has coached the Finnish Junior National team from 1996-1999 and coached winter seasons in Costa del Sol. Due to Finnish and Dutch dual citizenship, Kari was a Pro 3 years in The Netherlands. Returning to Finland two years ago, he decided to buy a TrackMan.

“It is the best investment I have done in my Teaching Pro career. I run a Tour Players Golf Academy and I use TrackMan almost in every day”.

Kari also coaches his own daughter, Krista, who finished 2nd place (individual score) in Ladies World Amateur Championship 2012, Espirito Santo. Krista achieved 3rd place in The European Ladies' Amateur Championship in Finland 2013. “It’s a great time for me to have a TrackMan when coaching junior and tour players, feedback is what players really need”.

Kari submitted the TPS Screencast - Case study “Analyzing attack angle, swing direction, swing plane and face-to-path with junior players“” as part of his Master project.
